Bring A Midsummer Night’s Dream to life in this fun and practical workshop. It’s the perfect accompaniment to Midsummer Mechanicals, our new play for families!
Using a range of activities and games designed to draw out elements of the play’s language, characters and themes, the session will bring you together with other families to discover the joy of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Workshops will be led by one of the Globe’s highly experienced practitioners who include actors, teachers and directors.
Be introduced to the Mechanicals – a band of craftspeople-turned-actors caught up in the magic and mayhem – before watching their next adventure in Midsummer Mechanicals. Or, enjoy the workshop as a stand-alone experience!
Recommended for ages 9–12 and their families. All those attending a session must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Workshops are also available for ages 5–8.
