Halloween Open Evening at Crossbones

Not only is the 31st of October Halloween, but it is ALSO the 169th Anniversary of the last burial at Crossbones. To remember those buried beneath us at Crossbones, to meet as a community, and to teach and reach out beyond our gate we’re putting on a special event to mark the occasion.
We’re opening up the Crossbones from 5-7.30 pm on Halloween, and inviting the general public to come and meet our wonderful wardens – who are bountiful in their knowledge of the site.
Oh!- and what a delight to see the site by candlelight at night!
