On October 5th Little Wing Film Festival is taking over Everyman Cinema Borough Yards, kicking off their 6th annual film festival with a night of independent short films, live music performances and an opening night party.
A volunteer-run, youth-led festival, Little Wing is working towards an accessible, exciting future for film by supporting emerging filmmakers and pushing for equality and sustainability in the film industry. Screening films exclusively by new and emerging filmmakers, Little Wing’s award-winning programme is designed around platforming important new voices while getting communities across London involved in a conversation about the future of film and culture.
For 2022 Little Wing are taking over a cinema in a different part of London every day, for a week packed with screenings, industry sessions, parties, pub quizzes and more. Bringing filmmakers, audiences and communities together, Little Wing is a celebration of grassroots culture and a push for a more equal, exciting film industry.
