Here’s what Bankside has in store:

12th Knot

Delicious cocktails, stylish settings, live music, and panoramic views across the city from this lofty rooftop bar at the top of the Sea Containers London Hotel. They have partnered with Grey Goose for LCW with a special Kaffir Martini, with homemade kaffir vermouth with a touch of orange, stirred down with classic Grey Goose

Albie

A neighbourhood-feel lobby bar in Southwark with an all-natural wine list, comfy sofas and an ever-changing rosta of food pop-ups to enjoy with a drink. Albie has three bars so you never need to wait too long for your drinks, plus a spacious street side terrace for drinks alfresco. Why not try the Nordic Goose, with Grey Goose Vodka and dill & tarragon infused dry vermouth. Garnished with dill.

Art Yard Bar & Kitchen

An informal all-day spot – as vibrant and artistic as its neighbourhood – Artyard’s enticing drinks menu serves up classics with a twist, making it a must visit for creative cocktails enthusiasts. They’re taking it to the next level this LCW, by celebrating art itself, their current artist-in-residence Corinne Natel to be precise. Corrine’s work has influenced their LCW cocktail Sub Tropical. This cocktail is artsy, upscale, yet laid-back, refreshingly long and robust in flavour. It’s made with a Thai basil-infused Toti rum, Falernum, Jasmin Verte, cucumber syrup, Peychard’s Bitters, tonic water & ginger ale.

Boiler & Co

Boiler & Company, is an independent specialist cocktail and gastro bar which is conveniently located seconds from the Thames and the Tate Modern. They aim to showcase the versatility of whisky in the modern-cocktail scene…It is a hotspot you don’t want to miss! They are offering a Faux Banana Old Fashioned featuring Maker’s Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Only £7 with a LCW wristband. It’s an amazing drink. Boiler & Co owner, Adam, infuses the whisky himself using banana skin and finely slices the banana, dehydrates it to create the stunning garnish. We previewed this drink at Cocktails in the City earlier this summer and it sold out every day.

Borough Yards

Borough Yards is a vibrant new destination right next door to the famous Borough Market. Based in and around a series of restored and reconceived railway arches, the brand new development is a two-minute walk from London Bridge station with world class bars and restaurants on its doorstep. Entry is completely free and guests can expect a collection of fantastic pop-ups bars there especially for London Cocktail Week.

Flat Iron – Omeara

An underground bar serving an array of cocktails, craft beers and mountains of tequila…as well as being attached to one of London’s top live music venues! This rabbit’s warren of a venue is best known for its live music, but they also have an unparalleled tequila collection! Please note – the signature cocktail here is limited to one per person.

Hawksmoor Borough

This south of the river member of the Hawksmoor family keeps the group’s heavy wood décor, whilst drawing on Borough Market next door for fresh ideas and produce. Why not try their PINK GIBSON – £7 with Boatyard Vodka, Audemus umami gin, Aperitivo Co. Lyon and pink pickle juice.

Sea Containers

Designed by visionary Tom Dixon, Sea Containers Restaurant is an all-day dining experience. In the middle of the room you’ll find the monumental stainless steel island bar, serving up delicious drinks throughout the week. The yellow submarine above the bar plays on the maritime theme and gives it a twist by making it yellow (also a nod to The Beatles) and is an actual replica of a submarine – made by Premier Ship Models. Try their Figurehead (inspired by the mermaid figure set at the front of old sailing ships). It includes Mermaid Zest Gin, Italicus, Grapefruit, Lime, Sugar, topped with lemonade & crushed ice, garnished with mint leaves and grapefruit slice

The Distillery Bar

The Distillery pays homage to the hotel’s heritage by highlighting its gins and local craft beers. Inspired by this history, the bar mixes signature cocktails and uses homemade aromatics, infusions, and bitters to accent the drinks. Take your pick from their Rhuby Sour with Rhubarb gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white. Or maybe their Heartbreak with Amaretto, strawberry syrup and lemon juice.
