The Sudanese Kitchen

Following the highly successful launch of Omer Al Tijani, The Sudanese Kitchen, Almas Art Foundation is pleased to present an exhibition featuring photographs from the book. The exhibition is a long-awaited first of its kind milestone in documenting Sudanese cuisine in English and as a whole. Through over 100 recipes, short anecdotes and personal stories, Al Tijani caringly guides newcomers and longtime lovers alike through Sudan’s rich tapestry of cuisines and cultures, creating a vivid documentation of the fascinating fusion meandering foodways that is Sudanese cooking.
