Our re-imagined Frost Fair celebrates some of the traditional and not so traditional activities, food and drink of the time…
During the original Frost Fairs, horse-drawn coaches crunched over the ice, navigating between pedestrians, tents and market stalls, and dodged ball games. Although we are not taking to the ice in 2024, you can still take a unique and magical horse drawn carriage ride around Bankside, driven by our magnificent Shire Horses. Tickets are free must must be pre-booked in advance.
Route takes approximately 20 minutes. Running Saturday and Sunday only.

DISCLAIMER: Due to the popularity of this activity, we ask that if you have a booking, that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your booking. If you arrive after this time, your tickets will be assigned to another individual. Please note, if you are currently on the online Eventbrite waiting list, you will be automatically be moved into a space if there are cancellations in advance of the day. Any spare tickets on the day will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Thank you.
