These wonders of engineering are home to a variety of people, activities and industry. The Low Line scheme is connecting areas, opening routes and bringing new uses to spaces in and around the railway arches. It encourages you to explore the history and character of Bankside’s side streets as you meander through the neighbourhood and uncover hidden hubs of entertainment, historic sites and green spaces.

The Low Line partners include three Southwark Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) – Better Bankside, Team London Bridge, Blue Bermondsey – supported by Southwark Council and The Arch Company. Integral to the success of the Low Line is engagement and collaboration with local communities.
