- Style: I work with portrait photographs to create unique interpretations of strong and spiritual women, which are abstracted in a spontaneous and freestyle way to create interesting and mysterious compositions.
- Personal inspiration: At a young age I was first inspired by the hip hop and graffiti culture which came over from New York in the mid eighties. As soon as I saw the amazing full colour pieces that were being painted on the subway trains I was hooked on the artform.
- Frost Fair inspiration: My mural depicts a mysterious young Victorian woman enjoying the fun and frolics of the final Frost Fair in 1814. Mixing my modern street style with the Victorian ones fuses together the past and the future in a unique way.
