Style: My style is expressive, painterly with a hints of realism all while experimenting
with a bold colour palette.
Personal inspiration: The people that inspire me are the artists that gave me opportunities
and supported me. There are far too many to count I have been fortunate to know so many inspiring people.
Artistic inspiration: My work is typically inspired by nature and life contrasting with
the concrete structures of urban spaces.
Frost Fair inspiration: This piece was inspired by the drought of money that occurred to the people of London due to the Thames freezing over. Goods could not be delivered by the boats
so Londoners had to create new ways of making money. So my story is of a fortune teller making her living at the fair with a trained parrot by her side. She holds the tarot card of good fortune,
but will good fortune come to those who pass in an area filled with goodwill but also
pickpockets and tricksters?
